Babies learn with super subconscious right brain. They are visual learners, constantly taking everything they see as a “mental picture” in their mind. Babies who read fast with clear and large print pictures will instantly store these picture images in their right brain for future use. This photographic learning process happens automatically and simultaneously through all their sensorimotor experiences. The right brain’s auto-mental processing ability and photographic memory enable babies learn things effortlessly with long-term memory.
On the other hand, babies are linguistic geniuses. Teach babies to read creates simultaneous visual and auditory stimulations, which develop the right brain’s photographic memory capabilities, as well as spatial skills, intuition and creativity. Comparison studies show that children who were exposed to reading during infancy have stronger abilities to learn with creative thinking, and possess prominent visual and spatial abilities. They also have stronger mathematical skills, and can count up to 100 by one year old, while other babies can only count about 20 at two years old.
Language is the most effective means that parents have to convey knowledge to their baby. Parents, who read to their baby, give their baby the gift that last a lifetime. Children, who have been read when they are young, have a good understanding of language and possess faster mental processing ability, which make them outperform others and enjoy a successful school life. By regularly and systematically reading to a young child, a parent will stimulate the child’s intelligence, understanding and creativity at an early age.
